Senior Web Developer

IODA (www.iodalliance.com), an industry-leading digital music distribution company based in SOMA, is looking for a senior web developer to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in the design and development of one of the largest digital music distribution platforms in the world, managing the delivery of millions of tracks to digital retailers like iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google and YouTube.

This position requires a solid understanding of web application development using the LAMP stack and MVC frameworks, as well as client-side technologies including HTML, CSS and Ajax. We're looking for someone able to work quickly and help solve complex engineering problems while building out new features and standardizing and improving our existing code base.

Senior Systems Software Engineer

IODA (www.iodalliance.com), an industry-leading digital music distribution company based in SOMA, is looking for a Senior Systems Software Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software and systems to manage content ingestion, audio transcoding, packaging and delivery of indie content to retailers like iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google and YouTube.

You will work on systems to process sales activity and royalty data into analytical views and monthly statements. And you will collaborate closely with our Web Development team to define and develop an API to expose these capabilities via web services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of relational and object-oriented design patterns, have experience building elegant, robust systems, and help our software development life-cycle mature as we navigate the growing scale and complexity of the music industry.

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software engineering with modern OO languages
• 5+ years ETL, data warehousing, reporting, and feeds
